Due to the pandemic and some logistical issues, while sharing the lower level of our church building with the pre-school, the Session has decided to postpone our weekly 9:30 a.m. Sunday School for the remainder of this year. Pastor Goligher intends to continue to bring a children’s story with a handout for the children each Sunday morning. In weeks to come he plans to recommence studies on the Westminster Confession of Faith on Wednesday evenings.
Also due to the pandemic, the regular fall Presbytery meeting of our denomination, which was to take place in Calgary, has been changed to a virtual meeting. This will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 6 & 7. We will continue the tradition of having preaching and prayer in the mornings and Presbytery business in the afternoons (Pacific time). Pray for our elders and our minister who represent our church. Pray for the technology to work smoothly and for the regular business of presbytery to be completed with the Lord’s blessing.
We continue to invite people to our church services. We are following a few basic guidelines during this pandemic. For the most part, doors will remain open and seats will be spaced out. To prevent the spread of the virus we do not sing at the services. We want everyone to be as safe as possible while attending.
We also invite people to join our services by live webcast online. Click on the "live-now" button on the front page of our website on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. as well as Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. After you join in please send us an email to let us know. Thank you!
